Horizon Goodwill Industries' Quality CommitmentQuality Work Environment Horizon Goodwill Industries’ (HGI) commitment to quality is re-enforced by its Quality Work Environment initiative, a continuous improvement process that enables employees to achieve their maximum employment potential. The initiative was established by NISH to “provide a framework to implement AbilityOne Employer Best Practices, building on non-profit agency ongoing efforts to integrate best, promising, and emerging employment practices into their business operations.” Our objectives are focused on outcomes that are reflective of a dynamic, continually improving organization that: a) develops opportunities for our workforce, b) improves wages through a variety of means, and c) creates opportunities for career development in the community and within Goodwill. All of these results are designed to continuously improve Horizon Goodwill for its clients, employees, business partners, and the local community. |
